A proud guaynabitch-a story of laughter

As scheduled, last night I went to see my friend Roy's standup comedy Cacos vs. Guaynabichos*. I made in time to meet Ingrid and her husband and score a prime time table in the dark theater cafe ( as always partner in crime, blog editor and styling consultant Geo was with me). I have to tell you it was AMAZING. People, this was the perfect antidote to whatever busy week I had. Everything was played perfectly and the audience responded. Roy's delivery on the different human interactions we face each day as puertorricans was delivered in perfect timing, with great amounts of real life imitations and mixed with well edited hilarious video clips.

As I keep going back to last night jokes I found myself laughing out loud ( yep, Carmela is looking at me wondering if I'm going insane again). I won't give any material out of respect of Roy and Joanne ( his life partner but most imporantly my friend from elementary school- always as sweet as I remember) But I give one piece of advice: People, if you have the chance to see Roy next week, dont miss the chance to enjoy great dark humor and self deprecating comedy and at the same time you support the upcoming artists of our generation.

And to end such a wonderful night, as soon as I logged on to my computer, I felt a hug from Jesus himself, a new episode of Pot Psychology!!!!!!!!!!
(*Cacos are ghettos/Guaynabichos are WASP's)
