Bye Bye 2008- Hello sexy 2009

2008 was a tough year for humanity. You know earthquakes,floods,markets crashed, war, Bush still in office, elections. But I'm trying to do something and count my blessings on what happened in 2008.

• Mia said titi
• Fell in love with my work...again
• Jennifer got engaged and Alba got married
• Found a wonderful group on women to share my laughs with on Thursdays ( much to Geo's dismay)
• Found myself as the entertainer on Sunday's family brunch
• Had the courage to cut my hair
• Grew a bigger circle of friends (even if they are dysfunctional as well)
  
• Remembered how cool the US Open is
  
• Strengthen my friendship with J via Gchat
• Julie's visit and falling in love again with Culebra
• Found Kariliz was pregnant with a boy
• Feeling proud of Tania excellling at her work and her personal life
• Admitted when to look for help when you feel at your lowest ( so tough)
• Admired the lunar eclipse in the back of the car and founded something unexpected
• Acquired a taste for grapefruit ( antioxidants, kids)
• Had a triumphant return to movies via DVD
• Grew empathy to Muslims and the conflict in Palestine
• Found Jezebel, my source of entertainment and inspiration
• Felt peace in my Mom's trial
• Reminded myself that yes I was born with style and that is a good thing
• Knowing Geo is going to be all right
• Getting coverage on my night with the girls ( jajaja)
• Knowing where I stand

So for 2009 I strive for a better relationship with God, my body, my mom, family and friends ( yes in that order). I want more professional maturity and growth. I want a healthy love relationship ( yes, I want the whole deal the butterflies in the stomach, the rapture and the security). Oh, and traveling theres more these eyes need to see
