People ask me why I blog, why put my thought out in the open in the vast world of the web? It started as a PR move for myself, as I have always fantasized of being a writer, like a published one in paper. Then I started posting stuff about my life, the puertorrican single with an interesting and diverse group of friends. But in order to express my sentiment on why I blog, I'm deliberatly quoting Bill Simmons answer to one of his readers* (*this comes from K@u someone who needs to blog and refuses to do so for God's knows what reason)
"In 15 years, writing went from "reflecting on what happened and putting together some coherent thoughts" to "reflecting on what happened as quickly as possible" to "reflecting on what's happening as it's happening" to "here are my half-baked thoughts about absolutely anything and I'm not even going to attempt to entertain you," or as I like to call it, Twitter/Facebook Syndrome. Do my friends REALLY CARE if I send out an update, "Bill is flying on an airplane finishing a mailbag right now?"
At the end, I want to promote the core values that we are slowly losing, the dynamic between a writer and reader. It may be short, it may be long and deep, but it the end this is a long conversation between you and me.
