Wiki and google= my blood

I'm an information junkie. To me learning about randing stuff is my heroin. From cooking recipes, pop culture facts, bios, geography, design, anything will feed my brain. This come very handy when I start blabbing facts in the middle of partying, family brunch and business meetings. Google and wiki (i know it's not a trustable source, but I felt in love with Wolverine reading his bio in it) are my blood that pumps into my veins. I'm a very good looking nerd with all this types of useless information.

There is a down side to all of this: one, I forget names, phones and important stuff because there is so much information I can handle in my brain storage and and two, people call with the most unusual questions and expect an honest, verifiable answer.

Would I stop surfing the web when I have a question too technical? nope, uneless I have a baby, which will limit my time. Would that will make more of a nerd? probably.

But nothing beats shutting everybody up when they verify that She-ra was He-man twin sister

Welcome to the dark side

Puertorrican women are a strange breed: most of manage to look well when broke, drive aggressively and most important appreciate boxing. We get giddy when we prepare munchies and make plans to go to someones house to go and see the fight.
Saturday was one of those nights, when Puerto Rico is silent, anxiously waiting to see one of our own, Miguel Cotto, go up in a ring. After a devastating fight to Margarito, Cotto came back with a darker persona, in black trousers ( he used to wear all white and using the slogan the angel has risen), freshly tattooed but most important fearless. We breathed in relieved when on the fifth round Cotto KO' a glorified sparring partner which name I can't remember. Our old boy was back and with thirst of blood.

I met Cotto in Buenos Aires a couple of years back. I was impressed by his quiet, stoic demeanor very common characteristics of military upbringing common in his household. I love his calmness before the ring and that he tries to speak English even when is broken.

Boxing is an excuse for to warm houses and to chill a little bit of our hectic lives. We will continue to embed this tradition into future generations even when some believe boxing is a morbid excuse to see someone shed blood. Nothing beats Mia chanting: Co-tto, Co-tto,Co-tto

Culture shock

Today in my way back to civilization, I found some interesting way to new language verbalization. I was in Naranjito, a rural town, and found the wedge fries are called wiches. Yep, they had a picture and everything. Now everything makes total sense since I have a friend from Naranjito who refers to lounge music like lunch music. Everyday you have some type of culture shock in this island
