Friday!!!!!!!!!

It's been a slow blog week for me. I've been stuck with my job's new website management system and after dealing with technical, cache and uploading situations, there is very few brain cells left to write about shallow, light stuff. So I'm going to recap some of my week's highlight.

1. Someone who vouched to never have facebook, found me and requested my friendship ( you know who you are)

2. I've been reading a lot of 25 randoms. But after an intense evaluation with Geo,we have to say the first one we read ( including mine), was the best one ever!!!. Kudos to the genius of K@u for having the gift of self evaluation EVA-H!!! ( it was so good, he got marriage proposals... from women).

3. True friendships holds together. Hanging with Aileen was certainly a week highlight

4.How two lamps made my day. Thanks Rafa for installing my lamps. I'm happy to say, I'm excited with my apt again.

5.The amount of people to self-deprecate is amazing. Tonight we are seeing my friend's Roy stand up. His comedy theme: Guaynabichos ( Puertorrican Wasp's)

6. Hi Kariliz!!!!!!!!!!! she's on bed rest for 10 weeks, please say hi

Current mood: Tired but standing
Current Obsession:Produce shopping ( I've been eating crap!!!-I'm craving oranges and tomates).
Currently listening to: So what from P!nk
Upcoming events: Stand up tonight, laundry, cooking, workout (Zumba with Patty), chilling

Wiki and google= my blood

I'm an information junkie. To me learning about randing stuff is my heroin. From cooking recipes, pop culture facts, bios, geography, design, anything will feed my brain. This come very handy when I start blabbing facts in the middle of partying, family brunch and business meetings. Google and wiki (i know it's not a trustable source, but I felt in love with Wolverine reading his bio in it) are my blood that pumps into my veins. I'm a very good looking nerd with all this types of useless information.

There is a down side to all of this: one, I forget names, phones and important stuff because there is so much information I can handle in my brain storage and and two, people call with the most unusual questions and expect an honest, verifiable answer.

Would I stop surfing the web when I have a question too technical? nope, uneless I have a baby, which will limit my time. Would that will make more of a nerd? probably.

But nothing beats shutting everybody up when they verify that She-ra was He-man twin sister

Old school friendship

You see that picture, we had a real blast from the part on Tuesday. After months of trying to get together, Geo and I get to spend time with the lovely Aileen, the original party queen from PR. You see, we are all connected. K was friends with Aileen, Aileen was friends with Geo and it was 10 years ago that it all became together. Aileen has work her whole professional life in nightlife and events. If somebody can be more resourceful than me, it's her ( you should see her save the date wedding postcard-so cute!).

So Tuesday we became full circle. Aileen invited us for a very nice cocktail party ( thank you new Hotel San Juan GM ; it was lovely) and we pick up exactly where we left off.I realized how matured we have become ( with serious immaturity bouts-I speak for myself) and then BANG!!! serious nostalgia kicked in.Behind where the days we went out EVERY single night, the countless nights when we spend in Babylon's VIP ( now brava) were we made it our permanent residence, finishing off with after hours in her apartment. I have to say thank God we stopped that lifestyle, I would have never looked this age at that rhythm.

Our friendship is a great example that true friendship holds together over time. She is getting married over the summer with a wonderful Croatian ( I don't know him, but Aileen has never under deliver) and I'm so happy they are making PR their permanent residence ( for now).

We promised not keep so much distance, promise I intend to keep
