Suspension

Meet Maite, one of the most fearless people I have ever met. What Maite wants, Maite gets and does it with style and determination. She was born in Fidel's Cuba (not the one that is now that's has no revolution agenda in it) and lived to tell. After her family almost exhausted all their resources to get her out, she came to Puerto Rico and strived moving forward in her education and an active social life.
She moved across the Atlantic to pursue new experiences. Now she is back for a while after recently a wonderful stint in Spain where she finished her Masters. And as you can imagine, she squeezed her experience until then end traveling through Europe and in the process, she acquiered a nice Caribbean-Spanish accent.
Maite, who moves through life like a butterfly in a flower garden doesn't know what her destiny awaits. I know she is looking forward to it though. But as her wrist tattoo shows, her life is always three suspension points...

Inked~

I have the biggest obsession with body art. Tattoos marked by originality and individualism. I salivate when I see people with full tat sleeves. I make people show and explain them to me and who was their artist. It doesn't matter if it is in color or black and white. I glued myself to the first season of LA Ink, and I swear Kat von D is one of the raddest chick on the planet.
Last night I saw my sister's cute neighbor ( and my cute I mean she was 19) sported the most interesting tat on her shoulder blade. I was impressed on how a 19 year old could live with so much depth( pic above). She has a famous quote "actions not words" in Latin, which is an appropriate and mature way to approach your professional, love and friendship relationships.
I have to thank my Mom for her intense disapproval of me doing a tat at a young age ( she vowed to cut me off completely). Probably today I would have look like a cheap grunge poster. I still crave my tat, a small one on my ribcage. Who knows one day, the least expected, i would get home with a bandage with neosporin, instead of a pair of shoes...

To Google ( hey it's free!):
