X men origins: The review

So after 6 degrees of separation with hunk Hugh Jackman while working in Phoenix, I went in and saw X Men Origins:Wolverine. I was looking forward to it, as I never quite understood how Logan became Wolverine and the whole memory deal.Well that and trying to catch Jackman nekkid. I went with Jenni, who introduced to the movie franchise ( yep, she is a nerd like me with this one) and Ariel who is also a fan (actually he's a Jane fan).

The verdict?: we were entertained but we want more good vs. evil. We need more Storm, Rogue, the ice kid, the sexual between Wolverine and Jane, and of course more Magneto, Mystique and Charles Xavier. We are ready to see what happens after Magneto moved the chess piece. The fight sequences are good and short( I'm a girl after all) and some new characters are introduced ( Marvel got fashionista, with Emma Frost a girl with diamond skin-very cool).

So will I see it again?Of course since I discovered that I missed some post credit scenes ( yes, there was more...).Not the deepest movie, but surely perfect for some Saturday afternoon.

ok, Batwoman is gay.....

All this time, I thought Batman and Robin had a "special" friendship, like a gay relationship. Hello, the butler, the tights, the age difference... it all pointed out like a healthy partnership in both crime fighting and in the bedroom. It turns out, Batwoman was the one hiding in the closet with the bats. DC Comics revealed that a 12 issue series will revealed that Batwoman is openly gay and who knows maybe fighting Prop 8.Not that there is nothing wrong being gay, unless it's Hugh Jackman playing Wolverine... now that's heartbreak for me.

Since I'm back at work from vacation in a foul mood, I figure I need some Hugh to cheer me up. So this is my gift to you fellow blog readers, a back to reality treat from me to you. Enjoy!

Ready the go down under with Hugh Jackman

I just came from the Australia Premiere and once again Mr. Jackman stole the show!!!(I'm a Wolverin fan)This epic is a must see for the Holidays. Girls and gays will have an eye fest, very similar to Legends of the Falls in 1994 (a classic Brad Pitt eye fest). Hugh definitely earned the Sexiest Man Alive by People Magazine this year. Sorry George, but nothing like a sweaty man on horse and a whip...
